The cylindrical filter beneath the lower spray arm traps food debris; when it clogs, wash performance drops and drain faults follow. A one-minute rinse and reinstall each month prevents most E24 drainage calls.
Because Bosch uses condensation drying rather than a hot heating element, it relies on rinse aid and the residual heat of the final rinse to dry dishes. If dishes come out wet, the first check is the rinse-aid reservoir, then the heating element and thermostat. Plastics dry less completely than glass and steel by nature of the method.
The E-codes are Bosch's clearest feature. E15 means water reached the base tray and tripped the anti-flood float; it is a leak to be found, not just reset.
